"Second Chance" Program

There is a saying " Instead of giving him a fish, teach him how to fish ".

This is the motto of the "SECOND CHANCE" program, a caring collaboration project between PeopleGiving and Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur. In many cases, a chance is what is needed to change a life of a person. This is especially true for the under-privileged group, who are striving for a chance to improve their general livelihood and to end the poverty cycle of the family.

SECOND CHANCE is also to help those who missed the chance of gaining higher education to end the poverty cycle. "The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes." Here, candidates are given a golden opportunity of gaining a skill-set to earn a living. This program is no ordinary skill-set training course. Participants would have the advantage of having trained by a 5-star renowned hotel management.

SECOND CHANCE is a program created jointly with Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, with an aim to provide under-privileged groups to gain skill set of training in the hotel within the 6 months training program. During this period, accommodation, meals, insurance, and allowance will be provided. Candidates with good performance will be offered permanent job opportunities in Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur once they completed the program.
