My Malaysia Program – "Feeding The Poor"

Think your bed is cold and hard? Think your blanket isn't warm enough? Think that last meal you had wasn't as satisfying as it could've been.

There are about 800 people, who are homeless or abandoned living their life on dusty pavements and bus stops when shops and busy street close for the day and midnight creeps in.

With the motto "Hunger Knows No Barriers", PeopleGiving is collaborating with Kechara Soup Kitchen to feed the homeless and under-priviledge group in Kuala Lumpur on 30th November 2013.

We are distributing total 1,150 food packs, of which 800 packs to the homeless on the street in KL & 350 packs to children homes.

The food packs consist of vegetarian meal, a loft of bread, fruits, biscuit and a bottle of beverage. To them, the food pack brings more value than that, it brings them warmth and hope!

Apart from the warm meal and dry food that we provide, we would like to give MORE for the homeless. The additional RM5,000 fundraise from this campaign will be used to purchase the following essential items for the 800 recipients.

  1. Medicated Oil (Minyak Angin)
  2. Shampoo
  3. Soap
  4. Dental set (Toothbrush and Toothpaste)
