This is Iman. He is a cheerful six year old boy. Iman loves coming to school to learn and play with his friends. But Iman is not able to walk and run like other children his age. He was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Most patients with spastic quadriplegia cannot walk and their speech may also be profoundly affected.
Spastic quadriplegia is always treated with physiotherapy to increase the patient’s mobility and to make the patient more comfortable. The goal of physiotherapy is to strengthen the limbs and to prevent contractures. Therefore, our vision is to provide a free physiotherapy session for Iman to enhance his physical and functional abilities.
Thank you for visiting my page. Your concern is appreciated. Please support my fundraising goal, by donating through PeopleGiving.
Our aim is to provide free physiotherapy treatment for children with disability from the lower income group so that they can get the proper treatment. The treatment will be held at CADS enhancement Centre (CEC) with all the rehabilitation facilities and treatment provided by certified physiotherapists.
“Recently, Iman has taken the injections of botulinum toxin in order to reduce his muscle tightness and tone and now he is able to stand for 3 minutes. Therefore, he really needs regular physiotherapy treatment like balance training, walking using aid and functional activity to enhance his milestone”.- Iman’s mom
Hence, let’s put our hands together to make our mission complete. Please take a step to give Iman a better chance of regaining his leg strength and maybe someday he is able to take his first steps. Your kindness will give him HOPE.
HOPE is the little voice you hear whisper “maybe” when it seems the entire world is shouting “no!”
CADS Centre is a special education centre which provides a holistic education system for special needs children, teenagers and adults.
